Welcome to Rodeo City Bar-B-Q
We are a family owned, full service restaurant that opened in 1994. Three generations often work together. We've gone to great effort to offer a clean, attractive, friendly atmosphere and a tasty selection of both bar-b-q and non-bar-b-q menu selections. We're proud to offer y'all “real” Texas style bar-b-q meats as well as non-bar-b-q lunches and dinners. We purchase only top quality, fresh meats, vegetables and other supplies. We do not add preservatives or artificial flavors to the finished product. Our homemade salads, breads, desserts, soups and baked beans are made daily and always display consistency and good taste. All of our bar-b-q meat is slow cooked in our pit smoker using hickory, apple, cherry or mesquite wood. We offer many lunch and dinner menu selections that are not bar-b-qed. Our tender, choice steaks are charbroiled to perfection. A vegetarian can select our garden burger or steamed vegetables; some salads, calico beans and most of our side orders. And we didn't forget the little “cowpokes”. A children's menu offers popular choices at reasonable prices. Our salads, chili, soups, side dishes, desserts and breads are made from “family” recipes that we've enjoyed for years. Our two homemade bar-b-q sauces enhance both bar-b-q and non-bar-b-q selections. The take-out menu offers a quick and delicious meal for any working person. Just give us a call or stop by and we'll prepare “fixins” for a great lunch or dinner. The restaurant has two banquet rooms which may be used for meetings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary celebrations, birthdays or family gatherings. We also operate a mobile catering wagon. Call us and we'll bring the food to you. Ellensburg hosts the world famous Labor Day Rodeo and Kittitas County Fair for four days. High school and collegiate rodeos are held during the year as well as horse shows and 4-H contests. Horse shows and competitions are scheduled throughout the year. All offer excitement and entertainment for the entire family. “Jazz in the Valley”, “Moments to Remember”, “Gust Fest”, National Art Show and Auction, and Central Washington University activities, as well as Art galleries, museums and antique stores combine to make our town busy, interesting and enjoyable. So----y'all enjoy our western heritage and the many other attractions the Kittitas Valley has to offer. When your travels bring you close to the City of Ellensburg you owe it to yourself to experience "A Taste of the West at its Best!"
